新华社阿比让1月31日电（记者张健）据科特迪瓦交通与海事部通报，该国北部卡巴杜古大区马迪纳尼-塞盖隆公路1月31日凌晨发生一起交通事故，造成至少14人死亡、21人受伤。
交通与海事部在一份声明中说，发生事故的货运卡车在运输谷物的同时非法搭载69名乘客。
交通与海事部长阿马杜·科内代表政府向遇难者家属致哀，祝愿受伤人员早日康复，同时要求卡巴杜古大区交通部门立即派人赶赴现场，调查事故原因。
科特迪瓦道路安全部门数据显示，这个西非国家每年发生约6000起道路交通事故，造成约600人死亡、超过1.3万人受伤。
