Washington, April 25th (Xinhua) - US President Trump announced on social media on the 25th that he has canceled the trip of US representatives to Islamabad, the capital of Pakistan, to meet with Iran.
Trump said that this trip was a "waste of too much time on the journey" and that there were "internal disputes and chaos" within the Iranian leadership. He also said that the US "holds all the chips" and if Iran wants to talk, "just call directly".
Trump has previously revealed to the media that his envoy Witkov and son-in-law Kushner's trip to Pakistan for US Iran negotiations has been cancelled. He said he had informed the two people that they didn't need to fly for another 18 hours to sit and talk.
